Tips for Home buyer – Why do I need a REALTOR #Buyer and Seller Education Episode 001
Hello, everyone, it’s Maya Minic with Revelation Real Estate. I’m a realtor in state of Arizona, and I’ll be coming here every Friday to give you some tips on buying and selling homes. I hope you will find this useful and educational, that’s my goal, so we’re gonna call this Friday’s Buyers and Seller Education and this is my Episode 1 and I’m so excited. I’m sure I’ll forget something, but I’ll try to be quick as I can so I’ll go over some basics. Today we’re going to talk how to select the right realtor. I know that’s something that is the first step, definitely, and you have to find the right person. It has to be a good fit.
My suggestion to be full-time realtor, and it totally doesn’t need to be me but it’ll be nice if you choose me, of course.
But it has to be a good fit for you. So you will see that after a couple showings if it’s gonna work or not. Question number one, why do I need a realtor? So to answer that question the best I can, you need a realtor, it’s to help you identify your goals. So what will be your goal when you’re buying a home. You know, it can be a different reason, like if you, for example, if you need a townhouse, or a house, or if you need one story or two stories, location, just going through your must and needs and help you determine your goals and be more, and help you decide what will be your dream home.
Some people are very, I’ll say, they know what they want but some people need some instructions on how to get there and I do my best to get you to the right direction. Also my job is to work with lenders and I’m actually gonna talk about that next Friday. It’s a whole another subject and I’m not going to go through that, but we gonna talk about how to get prequal and how to choose the right lender.
So I’ll search homes for you. I will search the neighborhoods, that’s the reason I need to know a little bit more about you so I can find the right neighborhood to fit your lifestyle. If you have to be in specific school district, I’ll be happy to help with that, as well. I’ll be a source, of course, and direct you to the right people.
Okay , okay, this is like a little bit, so I’ll schedule inspections for you, I’ll be there for inspections. I will help writing contracts, I’ll explain all terms and contingencies in the process. I will, for example, if you do inspections, then if the home inspector says we need a roofer, or pool guy, I’ll schedule that for you because I know you’re busy, you’re working so my job is to save your time and money and I’ll do all that for you. Another thing, after repairs are done, I’ll be sure I got that receipt and check them and be sure they are done by licensed professionals if that’s what is required and agreed to be done. I will be there for walk through, we’ll be sure the house is in the same condition as it was when you first time saw it.
Of course, with extra improvement that was done so we’ll be sure that all repairs are done. If not, we’ll go back to the seller and ask for that to be repaired. I’ll be there on closing day. Sometimes when you’re signing your docs, it’s really important to be there and in case if you have any questions. I’ll be sure you get that answer, so the closing it’s not interrupted and we close on time because, you know, that won’t be fun if you don’t close on time.
Anyway, after closing I stay in touch with my clients. I pull up, if they need any recommendation for anything, pretty much, not just real estate related, mostly real estate of course, but also if they need a good restaurant, massage therapist, good daycare. As a mom I know lots of places that are kids friendly and just in general, especially in Gilbert where I live. So I hope this was helpful, and I was trying to be quick because I know time is the most valuable thing we have and if you have any questions, comments, suggestions, I’ll be really thankful to post there and I can also directly answer on those questions if you have, or we can just talk some of our next Fridays.
That will be it, thank you so much for watching and see you next Friday. And happy Friday, bye.
